The 2007 Paviors’ Award was made to the Trinity Gardens Project in Newcastle. In making the Award, the judges were very impressed by the way the designers, Ros Southern Ltd, had changed a typical street into a pedestrian walkway where people can stop, sit and enjoy the environment. This has been made possible by the foresight of the client, Silverlink Developments, and the excellence of the paving constructed by contractor Atkinson and Company.
