COURT OF ASSISTANTS
The Worshipful Company of Paviors is run by the Master, Wardens, Assistants and the five most recent Past Masters. Members of the Court Emeritus, Honorary Court and other Past Masters have the right to attend Court meetings but do not have a vote.
Assistants
Members of the Court of Assistants are normally elected for up to ten years, and wear their badges of office on yellow and green neckbands.
Court Emeritus
Liverymen who have served as Master become members of the Court Emeritus after five years. Assistants who have served on the Court for more than ten years without becoming Warden in Nomination normally move to the Court Emeritus. Past Masters wear their Livery badges on black and white neck ribbons and other members of the Court Emeritus wear theirs on yellow and green breast ribbons.
Honorary Court
Liverymen who have given exceptional service to the Company are occasionally elected members of the Honorary Court. They may attend Court meetings without the right to vote. Like members of the Court Emeritus who are not past Masters, they wear their Livery badges on a green and yellow band on their right breast.
