The Paviors have a long-established and successful involvement in supporting many educational charities related to our aims and objectives. These include the Arkwright Engineering Scholarships, which began in 2011 and are much further back with the Construction Youth Trust. In 2016, the Paviors Alumni was established. Students are often very keen to continue their relationship and involvement with the Paviors, and this group was established to enable this association to continue.

Once a scholar completes their sponsorship and moves into further education or perhaps a career, they are invited to become part of this group with the opportunity for additional support and to attend events arranged by the Company. Mentoring is an essential part of this ongoing help with networking, guidance and advice about careers, work placements, etc., all provided by member contacts. At the same time, the Company run events enable the students to keep in touch with each other socially.

The Company encourages the scholars to apply for membership as Freemen and Liverymen of the Paviors, and several Alumni have become members.
