The Worshipful Company of Paviors continue to support the London Construction Academy, although activities have ceased temporarily during the Covid pandemic.
An Impact Report has recently been published on the work of the academy and this can be read by clicking here.
Since 2017, 185 students have participated in the 11 courses that have been run. Of those who attended these courses, 80 per cent completed a course, 69 per cent achieved a Construction Skills Certification Card, 56 per cent achieved the London Bronze Pass and 43 per cent have gained employment. Some graduates have now gone on to obtain further qualifications. Since 2017, the Paviors have invested over £150,000 in the Academy, and this investment is planned to continue into the future.
The Impact Report concluded that, since 2017, over £1.4 million of social value has been created through courses run by the Academy, which represents a return of £9 for every £1 invested in the Academy. The Worshipful Company of Paviors is proud of its association and contribution to the London Construction Academy.
