Christmas Dinner at Watermen’s Hall – A Splendid Evening of Festive Cheer!

The Paviors’ Luncheon Club welcomed 56 attendees to a truly memorable Christmas Dinner on Monday, 8th December 2025, held in the atmospheric and historic surroundings of Watermen’s Hall. From the moment guests arrived, the hall was filled with warmth, laughter, and festive spirit.

The evening began at 6:30 pm with a lively reception and delightful entertainment, setting a wonderfully cheerful tone for the night. At 7:00 pm, guests were seated for dinner, where Linda Duffy gave the Chairman’s Grace on behalf of the Luncheon Club, which was preceded by a beautifully prepared seasonal feast. From the Grilled Fillet of Stone Bass to the Roast Goose with a Tarragon and Ginger Crust, and finally the much-loved Cook & Butler Christmas Pudding, each course was enjoyed with enthusiasm and complemented by excellent wines.

A highlight of the evening was the superb brass quartet Deck the Horns, whose vibrant performances of festive favourites brought joy to all. Their spirited renditions—and the enthusiastic singalong that followed—made for a truly memorable musical celebration.

As the evening drew to a close, the Committee extended warm wishes to all attendees for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to a prosperous year ahead, filled with good cheer, good company, and the many fine gatherings that define the Luncheon Club.
