PHILANTHROPY
The Company strongly supports charitable and educational organisations, particularly those linked with the City of London, the craft of paving and the broader construction and infrastructure sectors. The Paviors’ Company is driven strongly by charitable and educational objectives. Each year, the Company makes charitable donations to many causes and rewards excellence in activities associated with the “craft of paving.” The money donated comes from the Paviors’ Charity (Registered Charity No. 1102885).
The Paviors’ Charity Committee tends to recommend requests for funding that meet one of the following criteria:
a) The provision of apprenticeship qualifications and education in the construction industry for young people
b) The Corporation of London, the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, and other charities associated with the City of London
c) HM Armed Forces, through affiliations with the 29th Squadron RAF, DTXG, and the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment 3rd Battalion
d) Any other objects of a charitable nature of interest to the members of the Worshipful Company of Paviors
